Day 02
Vientiane – Express Train to Vang Vieng (B, L)
Head to Buddha Park, an intriguing open-air display of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures near the Friendship Bridge. If time allows, stop by Ban Nong Bouathong, a village known for its traditional weaving, before boarding a train to Vang Vieng, a peaceful town resting along a curve of the Nam Song River. Enjoy some free time to unwind before heading to the train station for your journey to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you will be met and taken to explore the stupa of Wat Visoun, followed by visits to Wat Aham, Wat Mai, and the National Museum housed in the former Royal Palace.
Day 05
Luang Prabang – Pakou Caves (B, L)
Explore the city's most historic temples, Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, before embarking on a boat cruise along the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha statues. Along the way, stop by two small villages, then ascend to Wat Chomphet for a breathtaking panoramic view of Luang Prabang. Later, take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek, renowned for their traditional silk weaving and Saa paper craftsmanship. Day 06
Luang Prabang – Ban Long Lao – Kuang Si Waterfalls (B, L)

Continue the journey by exploring other minority villages to gain further insight into their vibrant way of life. Day 07
Luang Prabang – Flight to Pakse – Bolaven (B)
Fly to Pakse and, upon arrival, journey to the Bolaven Plateau. The first stop is Houey Ten, a Katu village known for its traditional knifemaking craftsmanship. Continue to a local tea and coffee plantation before visiting the breathtaking Tad Fane Waterfall. Next, head to Tad Lo Waterfall and explore Ban Bong Neua, an Alak village recognized for its sacrificial altar. Later, travel deeper into the Bolaven Plateau to visit the Lao Teung ethnic minority villages.
Day 08
Bolaven – Champasak – Khong Island (B, L)
Travel to Champasak and explore Wat Phou, an ancient temple originally constructed by Khmer Hindus atop a hill. This remote and magnificent site offers breathtaking views of the Mekong Valley. At the highest point of the temple complex, you’ll find intricately carved stones shaped like a crocodile, a naga, and an elephant. Afterward, continue the journey by road to Khong Island, an area dotted with 4,000 small islets.
Day 09
Khong Island – Pakse (B, L)
Continue discovering Khong Island with a boat trip. Start by exploring Ban Khone, where remnants of the French colonial era remain, including old colonial houses and the first Lao railway, complete with its original locomotive. Next, visit the stunning Liphi Waterfall, which marks the natural border between Laos and Cambodia. Return to Ban Nakasang and drive to the renowned Khone Phapheng Waterfall, the largest in ASEAN. Finally, head back to your hotel in Pakse.
Day 10
Pakse – Flight to Vientiane (B)
Enjoy your free time for personal exploration until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and taken to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax at your leisure.

Vientiane Departure (B)
Your available time before departure will vary, allowing you to either unwind or continue exploring Vientiane at your own pace. Later, transfer to the airport for your outbound flight.
