Vientiane Arrival (D)
After arriving, begin your journey by exploring the city's key attractions, including Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in the country, and Wat Prakeo, the former royal temple. Vientiane – Express Train to Vang Vieng (B, L)

Later, board a train to Vang Vieng, a peaceful town set along a scenic bend of the Nam Song River. Conclude the day by witnessing a breathtaking sunset reflected over the tranquil waters.
Day 03
Vang Vieng – Tham Jang Caves (B, L)
Explore Tham Jang Cave, once a refuge for locals during Chinese invasions. Then, journey through lush rice fields to Tham Phoukham, a stunning limestone cavern nestled within the forest. Along the way, interact with villagers and gain insight into their daily lives. In front of the cave, a natural pool offers the perfect spot for a refreshing swim to cool off from the heat.
Day 04
Vang Vieng – Express Train to Luang Prabang (B, L)
Board a train to Luang Prabang and, upon arrival, explore the National Museum at the former Royal Palace. Visit the city's most historic temples, Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, before heading to the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre to learn about local culture. Later, ascend Mount Phousi to admire its sacred stupa and take in breathtaking panoramic views at sunset. Conclude the evening with a visit to the vibrant Night Market before returning to your hotel.
Day 05
Luang Prabang – Pakou Caves (B, L)
Embark on a boat journey along the Mekong River, enjoying sweeping views of the countryside. Stop at the renowned Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha statues. Along the way, visit the villages of Ban Muangkeo and Ban Xieng Mene before ascending to Wat Chomphet for a stunning panoramic view of Luang Prabang. Upon returning to town, take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek, two villages celebrated for their traditional silk weaving and Saa paper craftsmanship.
Day 06
Luang Prabang – Xieng Khouang (B, L)
Depart from this picturesque town and embark on a scenic seven-hour drive to Xieng Khouang, a region that endured heavy bombings during the American war. Traveling along these lesser-known routes offers a glimpse into the authentic charm of rural Laos. Upon arrival, head out to explore the Plain of Jars, a fascinating archaeological site where hundreds of massive stone jars are spread across the plateau.
Day 07
Xieng Khouang – Flight to Vientiane (B, L)
Set out on a journey to Mouang Khoune, a town that was nearly obliterated by American bombings during the Vietnam War. Along the way, stop by H’mong, Thai Dam, and Phuan ethnic minority villages to learn about their unique cultures. Upon arrival, take an orientation tour of Mouang Khoune and explore the remnants of Wat Phia Wat and Wat Tha Foune. Later, board a flight to Vientiane, where you can wander through the city’s landmarks and enjoy a picturesque sunset along the Mekong River.
Day 08
Vientiane Departure (B)
Spend your free time exploring the Morning Market and discovering the traditional craftsmanship at Ban Nong Bouathong, a village renowned for its weaving. Afterward, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
