We are back at home and in the snow! Thank you so much for planning such an amazing vacation and experience for the four of us. We all loved our time in Viet Nam and truly appreciate your advice and coordination of our plans. I know that Karen will also send you a reply with her feedback.

Highlights of our trip:

All three guides, Bak, Vin, and Lam were excellent. We especially appreciated Vin’s sense of humor and Lam’s patience. All of them were knowledgeable, accommodating, considerate, kind and respectful to all of us. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs, were proud of their communities and country, and wanted us to have a great experience. We never felt rushed and they were willing to go way above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. One small note was that both Vin and Lam had lots of water to provide to all of us, which we really appreciated.
All the drivers were good and made us feel safe.
The itinerary was great, we particularly enjoyed our day at the Citadel in Hue and the mausoleums that day. We also loved the Cu Chi tunnels.
The hotels you selected were great, the ones in Hanoi, Hue and Hoian were perfect. The one in Ho Chi Minh was a bit off the beaten path so we had to do Grabs for everything. Breakfast buffets at all of them were terrific. The one in Hanoi was going through major renovations but it was clean and the location was perfect. The Hoian Beach Resort was beautiful and the service was very impressive.
The lunches were fabulous, the restaurants and the food selections impressed us. Variety of beautiful locations, amazing service and food that we may have never tried that we loved.

We loved when we had the opportunity to get off the typical tourist path. Bak took us for a bike ride at Ninh Binh off the beaten path that we will always remember. We also got to do the quieter boat ride that day that was away from the tour buses that we really enjoyed. The last day in the Delta McKong with Lam was also in a quiet location which was special.
I really appreciated that you helped me find my glasses, it took so much stress off me and I was so impressed with your assistance in making that happen for me. Thank you so much Ellie!
The trip was a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation.

Since being home, we have been asked by many people how our trip was. I am telling them all about the friendliness and kindness of all the people we met, how I felt completely safe in every circumstance, and the ease of our travels due to your coordination and having a private guide. Pure joy!

Hi Ellie and sorry for the delay in returning your email. I agree with everything Sharry said; it was truly an experience none of us will forget. I’d like to draw special attention to Lam as he was the guide who needed to accommodate me after my injury. He couldn’t have been more respectful or considerate, and I really appreciate the extra effort he and the driver made to make sure I had a choice on how I wanted to participate in all the activities (e.x. boat or tuk tuk).
