Day 02
Yangon – Flight to Heho – Kalaw (B)
Head to the airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive to Kalaw and explore the Pindaya Caves, Pindaya Lakes, and Hnee Pagoda. Visit Shwe U Min Monastery and take in the serene atmosphere of this mountain resort town in the Southern Shan State while enjoying the scenic surroundings.
Day 03
Kalaw – Indein – Inle Lake (B)
Travel to Inle Lake and arrive at Nyaung Shwe jetty, where you’ll embark on a scenic boat tour to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. In the afternoon, explore the enchanting floating gardens, observe the unique leg-rowing fishermen, and witness traditional fishing techniques. Continue to visit local silk-weaving workshops, stilt-house villages on the lake, and Nge Pe Chaung Monastery.
Day 04
Inle Lake – Bagan (B)
Travel to Bagan, a historic city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the night in Bagan.
Explore the vibrant Nyaung U Market before visiting Shwezigon Pagoda, renowned for its magnificent golden stupa. Continue to Kyansittha Umin, Wet-kyi-in Gubyaukgyi Temple, which features stunning Jataka murals, and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon, stop by a traditional lacquerware workshop, then visit Manuha Temple, Nang Phaya - once the residence of King Manuha - Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece, and Oak-Kyaung Monastery, adorned with colorful paintings. Conclude the day with a breathtaking sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda.
Day 06
Bagan – Mandalay – Ava – Mandalay (B)
Drive to Mandalay. En route, take a ferry across the river and explore Ava by horse cart - once a royal capital until British annexation in 1885. Upon reaching Mandalay, enjoy a breathtaking sunset from Mandalay Hill.
Travel to Pyin Oo Lwin, located east of Mandalay, about a one-and-a-half-hour drive away at the foothills of the Shan Plateau. Once called Maymyo, this former colonial hill station was a retreat from Mandalay’s intense heat. Explore attractions such as Pwe Kauk Waterfall, Peik Chin Myaung Cave, the Chinese Temple, and National Kandawgyi Park before returning to Mandalay.
Day 08
Mandalay – Amarapura – Sagaing – Mingun – Flight to Yangon (B)
Drive to Mahagandayon Monastery, where hundreds of young novices diligently study Buddhist scriptures while adhering to the monastery’s strict rules based on Buddha’s teachings. Continue to Sagaing Hill, a spiritual hub of Myanmar, with its hillsides adorned with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Then, embark on a boat trip along the Ayeyarwaddy River to explore Mingun Village, visiting landmarks such as Settawya Pagoda, Mingun Pahtodawgyi, and Myatheintan Pagoda. In the evening, board a flight back to Yangon.
The Yangon tour features Karaweik Hall, a majestic royal barge on the Royal Lake, perfect for a photo stop. Visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, home to a colossal reclining Buddha. Then, head downtown to explore Chinatown’s vibrant fruit market and Yangon’s city center, culminating in a visit to the world-renowned Shwedagon Pagoda. Experience the golden dome glowing under the sunset.
Day 10
Yangon Departure (B)
Begin the morning with shopping at Treasure, Gems, and Handicrafts shops. Then, visit Bogyoke Aung San Market, where you can find a variety of souvenirs. Afterward, transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
