Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
In the Morning: Visit Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Temple of literature, Fine Art Museum. Break for lunch in a restaurant. In the Afternoon: Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple, Old quarter, French quarter (walking or Cyclo tour), Quan Thanh Temple, West Lake then enjoy a water puppet show.
Day 03
Hanoi – Halong Bay, The Most Amazing World Heritage (B, L, D)
Depart from Hanoi to Halong Bay. After 2.5 hours driving, you will board a traditional wooden boat to discover the legendary bay. Lunch and dinner is served onboard. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 04
Halong Bay – Hanoi (B)
Join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or freshen up with a swim before breakfast while the boat cruises among hundreds of islands and islets back to the pier. Drive back to Hanoi. Free to explore more of Hanoi city by yourself.
Day 05
Hanoi – Flight to Hue – DMZ – Quang Binh (B)
Morning pick up to Noi Bai airport fly to Hue Ancient Capital of Vietnam of Nguyen Dynasty. Change to the car from Phu Bai airport. Drive northward through the Demilitarized Zone during the Vietnam war, stop at Hien Luong bridge, Quang Tri Citadel and visit Vinh Moc tunnel on the 17 parallel. Arrive in Quang Binh.
Day 06
Phong Nha Unesco Natural World Heritage (B, L)
Drive 1 hour to Phong Nha – Ke Bang Unesco natural world Heritage. Take a boat trip on the Son River and visit the Water Cavern, the longest water cave in the world. After lunch drive back to Hue.
Day 07
Hue Unesco World Heritage (B, L)
In the Morning: visit the Great Enclosure of Royal Citadel, the complex of Noon Gate, Royal Palace, and Temples built in 1802. Afternoon boat trip on the Perfume River go upstream visit Thien Mu Pagoda, continue to Minh Mang King’s Tomb.
Drive along the sea coast southward, climb up on the Cloudy Pass, some stops on the way for taking pictures, pass Da Nang City and visit Champa Sculpture Museum. Arrive in Hoi An, check in Hotel and Lunch break. The rest of the day is free.
Day 09
Hoian Unesco World Heritage (B, L)
Walking in the Unesco World Heritage of Hoi An ancient Street, visit Japanese Bridge, Old house, Chinese Congress Hall, Museum. Free to walk in the street of thousands of lanterns reflecting on the water of Hoai River or Cua Dai Beach.
Day 10
Hoian – My Son Unesco World Heritage – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Morning drive 1 hour to My Son, Unesco World Heritage, and the Hinduism Sanctuary of Champa kingdom built from VII to XIII centuries. The complex of brick towers, decorated with statues, sculptures divided in many groups and located in the mysterious forest look up to Cat Tooth Holly Mountain. Drive back to Da Nang city for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11
Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Visit the War Remnant Museum, Reunification Palace, Post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, then pass by People Committee Hall and walk around Ben Thanh market. Lunch break. In the afternoon visit Cu Chi tunnel, a famous underground guerrilla base during the Vietnam War in the suburban district of Ho Chi Minh City. Back to the City.
Day 12
Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Depending on your departure time, you will have some free time to relax or further explore this city on your own before a transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
