Vietnam Traditional Villages

You will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy a trip to Van Phuc Silk village then go back to Hanoi for a welcome dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a morning tour to Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology, the attractive collection of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam then continue to visit Yen Phu Incense village. Enjoy lunch at Cha Ca La Vong Restaurant which is listed in the travel book 1000 places to see before you die. After lunch, make your way to Bat Trang Ceramic Village.

Leaving Hanoi by road for Halong Bay. After 2.5 hours driving, check-in at a Vietnamese wooden junk. Journey along the spectacular limestone islands through floating villages while having seafood lunch, then disembark to visit Surprising Cave, next stop is Titop Island where you could swim or climb up to the top for panoramic view. In the evening, you will be delighted by a candle light dinner on board with seafood. Overnight on Cruise.

A breakfast will be served in the restaurant with the combination of western style and local one. Experience the Bay up close and personal with a leisure sampan tour to Hang Luon or Lagoon Cave allows you to see flora and fauna of Catba National Park, and then continue to Halong City. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi. On the way back, stop to visit Dong Ho Painting Village in Bac Ninh province. The evening will be free for discovering Hanoi at night.

Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Hue. Upon arrival at the airport, welcome and transfer to your hotel for check – in. In the afternoon, a tour in Hue City includes Thanh Tien Paper-Flower making village and Tay Ho Conical hat-making village where you can learn the whole process to make Hue hats, symbolizing the beauty of Hue’s women.

Leave Hue to Hoian. On the way, take a panoramic photo stop at top of the Hai Van Pass then visit the Cham Museum and Non Nuoc Stone Carving village. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour to Japanese Covered-Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and Chua Ong Pagoda. The afternoon peaceful boat ride along the Thu Bon River to Thanh Ha Ceramic village allows you to take a deeper look at ceramic techniques and processes between the north and the center of Vietnam. Free to enjoy Cua Dai Beach in the late afternoon.

A guided walking tour in Hoian shows you Hoian Lantern making village, Kim Bong Carpentry Village which has long been famous with its arts of wood carving and sculpture. After lunch, enjoy a half day tour to Tra Que vegetable Village where tourists are not only guided to make soil, fertile, grow vegetable but also learn how to make the cuisine from vegetables in this place like the native people and then Phuoc Kieu Bronze Casting Village in which people make bells, gongs, gong-like music instruments, incense burners, lamp holders, ancient vases, and other bronze musical instruments which are normally used in festivals, ceremonies and daily life.

Transfer to Danang airport for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, check in the hotel. Enjoy the orientation afternoon tour including: Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Colonial Post Office and War Remnant Museum. In the evening, enjoy free time in the city to join locals for traditional activities.

Morning tour will lead you to Giac Vien Pagoda, and Binh Tay market where you can buy various things for gifts for your parents and relatives. After Lunch, discover China Town in district 5 which offers everything you can think of, from fresh produce to Vietnamese goods and especially items with a Chinese flavor. Enjoy a farewell dinner dinner at a local restaurant with southern taste.

Depending on your departure time, you will have some free time to relax or further explore this city on your own before a transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
