Day 03
Bangkok – Railway Market – Floating Market – Kanchanaburi (B)
Explore the Maeklong Railway Market and savor some local snacks before heading to Damnoen Saduak, a traditional rural floating market. Continue your journey to Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit the World War II memorial, including the JEATH War Museum and Cemetery. Afterward, board a train for a scenic 30-minute ride along the river, and then head to the famous Kwai Bridge for further exploration.
Day 04
Kanchanaburi – Erawan Waterfalls – Ayutthaya (B)
Set off for Erawan Waterfall, a stunning seven-tiered waterfall, before continuing your journey to Ayutthaya, famously known as the 'Venice of the East.' Overnight stay in Ayutthaya.
Day 05
Ayutthaya – Overnight train to Chiang Mai (B)
Hop on a Kermit tuk tuk to explore Ayutthaya's temple highlights, including Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat, and a stroll through a local market on the way to Wat Phra Srisanphet. Next, visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, known for its unique blend of European, Khmer, Thai, and Chinese architectural styles, and is the King’s favorite summer residence. Afterward, transfer to the station to board an overnight train to Chiang Mai.
Embark on a walking tour of the old town, stopping at the ancient wall, moat, and one of the old town's gates. Explore Chiang Mai's most beautiful temples, including Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao, and Wat Chedi Luang. Then, wander through narrow streets lined with traditional houses and enjoy a rickshaw ride. Afterward, stroll through the bustling Warorot Market. In the afternoon, visit Doi Suthep Hill and explore nearby craft villages.
Day 07
Chiang Mai – Elephant Jungle Sanctuary (B, L)
You will be collected from your hotel at 8:30 and transferred to the Sanctuary. Upon arrival, meet your guide and take a 15-minute walk through the jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Once there, engage in activities with the elephants, such as feeding, interacting, and playing with them in a natural setting, and capture some memorable photos. After lunch, enjoy bathing and brushing the elephants.
Day 08
Chiang Mai – Mae Kampong Village – Chiang Mai (B, L)
In the morning, you will head towards Mae Orn. On the way, make a stop at the San Kamphaeng market to purchase ingredients for lunch and seasonal fruits. Upon arrival in Mae Kam Pong, you’ll learn about the history of this remarkable village and enjoy a scenic trek around the area. There are several walking trails to explore. Lunch will either be served at a local homestay or as a picnic, depending on the itinerary. You can also enjoy a traditional massage during your visit.
Day 09
Chiang Mai Departure (B)
If time allows before your departure, enjoy some free time to unwind or explore the city on your own, then transfer to the airport for your flight.
