Detailed Itinerary
Day 01

Bangkok Arrival

Pick up at the airport then transfer to the hotel for check-in and free at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 02

Bangkok (B, L)

Transfer to visit the Grand Palace complex and then visit Wat Phra Kaew. In the afternoon, take a joint local public ferry crossing the Chao Phraya River. Along the way, stop at Wat Arun and then take a joint local public back to visit Wat Pho, you will also visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha. A walk to visit Chinatown before going back to the hotel for relaxing.
Day 03

Bangkok – Railway Market – Floating Market – Kanchanaburi (B)

We drive southwest of Bangkok, visit the Maeklong railway market before driving to Damnoen Saduak, a rural floating market. Stop for a long-tailed boat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Continue to the city of Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery. Then visit Wang Pho to get on a train ride along the railway to enjoy a beautiful river view for around 30 minutes.
Day 04

Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (B)

Transferring to Ayutthaya. First, visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, or the “Monastery of the Golden Mount”, which is located just outside Ayutthaya. Then proceed to the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, one of the largest bronze Buddha in Thailand and visit Wat Lokaya Sutha. This temple enshrines a large reclining Buddha image.
Day 05

Ayutthaya – Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Rai (B)

Visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles. It’s the favorite summer palace of the King. And transfer back to Bangkok for a flight to Chiang Rai.
Day 06

Chiang Rai (B)

Visit the local market to discover the local products then visit the world-famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singha where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then drive to Baan Dam and visit the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on Mae Kok River from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants and enjoy 1-hour elephant trekking.
Day 07

Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai (B)

Drive to visit Chiang Saen, the ancient city located on the Khong River Bank. After that, visit the Opium Museum which shows about the opium’s history in the past in Thailand. In the afternoon, taking a boat trip along the Mekong Kong River to see Thailand, Myanmar & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle. Later, transfer directly to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
Day 08

Chiang Mai – Doi Suthep (B, L)

Breakfast and the morning will be mainly devoted to the walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh temple, Wat Phan Tao temple, Wat Chedi Luang temple. Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take a rickshaw tour. After that, you will take a walk through the central market of Warorot. In the afternoon you will visit the Doi Suthep hill. To brighten up your evening, browse the Night Market for yourself.
Day 09

Chiang Mai – Mae Sapok Trekking (B, L)

Departure from your hotel in a private car for a day of trekking in the villages of the white Karen tribe. You start with a walk in the jungle (2 hours) to the village where you meet and interact with the villagers. Continue walking in the jungle (1 hour) to go to the beautiful waterfall. You will enjoy a relaxing swim and picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you take a pleasant bamboo raft ride along the river.
Day 10

Chiang Mai Departure (B)

Depending on your departure time, you will have free time to relax or further explore the city on your own before a transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
