Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer to visit Angkor Thom including Elephant terrace, Leper King terrace, Baphuon, Royal enclosure, Phimeanakas and Bayon temple. After lunch, visit Angkor Wat, which is the largest & most impressive of all the temples and one of the 7 wonders of the world.
In the early morning, you will watch the picturesque sunrise at Angkor Wat before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Then you will visit the highlights of the Grand Circuit including Neak Pean, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan. After lunch, continue to visit the highlights of the Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan, the royal bathing pond of Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo and the jungle-clad Ta Prohm.
In the Morning, you will visit the Roluos Temple Complex. The complex represents the remains of the first major capital of the Khmer empire and comprises the following principal monuments: Bakong, Preah Ko and Lolei. After lunch, take a boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake. This is a great opportunity to learn about the life of the people in this village. Here, you can observe life in the Khmer stilt villages from the banks of the river as the local fisherman count their catch and prepare it for the markets.
After breakfast, you head to the exquisite Banteay Srey (“Citadel of the women”). The temple displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. The visit is combined with the discovery of Banteay Samre. After lunch, continue to visit Ta Som, Neak Pean and Krol Ko. In the evening, you will enjoy a dinner with an Apsara dance show. Dancers, singers and musicians bring ancient Khmer culture to life in spectacular surroundings.
Day 05
Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B)
Today, you will take a private transport to Phnom Penh, and get scenic views of Cambodian rural life along the way (optional by air). Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel in Phnom Penh for check in. After a short rest, you will take a city tour to the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and the National Museum of Khmer Arts.
In the Morning, you will visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the site is a former high school where was used as the Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the communist Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979. After that, transfer to visit the Killing Fields, where large numbers of people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge communist regime which ruled the country during the late 1970s. Afterward, you will enjoy shopping at Russian Market then free in the late afternoon to explore the city by yourself.
Day 07
Phnom Penh Departure (B)
After breakfast, free time for your own activities until transfer to the airport for your own departure flight.
