Day 01

Hanoi – Overnight Train to Lao Cai

In the evening, our driver will pick you up then transfer to Hanoi train station for a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.

Day 02

Lao Cai – Sapa (B)

Upon arrival, pick up then transfer to Cat Cat village, home of the H’Mong ethnic minority people. Here, you will enjoy a walking tour through the village, you will meet and talk with the local minority people and you will also have the opportunity to share cultural experiences when you visit some families that live in the area. In the afternoon, you are free to relax or discover Sapa town.

Day 03

Sapa – Lao Cai – Overnight Train to Hanoi (B, L)

Transfer for a walking tour through some hill tribe villages: Lao Chai and Ta Van, home of Black H’mong and Dzay people as well as Ta Phin village, home of Red Dzao people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once stood in the valley, you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery that surrounds you. In the evening, take a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 04

Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Arrival at the train station in the early morning, pick up to a mini hotel for a short rest & breakfast then leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. Upon arrival, board an overnight cruise to discover the legendary Halong Bay. Enjoy full board meals and many indoor & outdoor activities. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 05

Halong Bay – Hanoi/Airport (B)

Join a Tai Chi session then enjoy an international brunch while the cruise cruises among hundreds of islets before coming back to the pier. Drive back and arrive at your hotel in Hanoi or the airport in the late afternoon.
