Day 01
Hanoi Arrival (Vietnam)
Upon arrival, pick up at the airport then transfer to your hotel for check-in. Free at leisure.
Take a full day city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh Complex area and One Pillar pagoda. After that, visit the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam and the Museum of Ethnology where you can learn different life aspects of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. After lunch, enjoy a cyclo tour to visit the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem lake then watch the traditional water puppet show.
Day 03
Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. Enjoying the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields. Upon arrival, board an overnight cruise to discover the legendary Halong Bay. Enjoy full board meals and many indoor & outdoor activities. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 04
Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B)
Join a Tai Chi session then enjoy an international breakfast while the cruise cruises among hundreds of islets before coming back to the pier. Drive back to the airport for a flight to Hue. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel.
Enjoy a boat trip on the Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue city, then discover the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden Purple City where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 – 1945. After lunch, continue to visit the elaborate tombs of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh where you will learn about Royal’s life and their architecture.
Transfer by car over the most spectacular Hai Van Pass to Hoian. En route, visit the Marble Mountain, Cham Museum and the Stone Village. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour to visit the ancient town of Hoian then visit a home of craftsmen where you will discover the daily life of local people and observe how they make a lantern.
Day 07
Hoian – Da Nang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Free for the beach or you can contact us for more activities such as Golden bridge, Countryside tour, Cycling tour, Sunset cruise, Cooking class, My Son sanctuary, etc. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City (1.15 hour). Upon arrival, pick up at the airport then transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Day 08
Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
Driver to Cu Chi district to visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. After lunch, transfer back to the city to visit the main sights including the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, War Remnants museum and Ben Thanh market.
Day 09
Mekong Delta (B, L)
Transfer to Mekong Delta then take a boat trip to discover Caibe floating market. Visit a village to watch the process of making local products, observe daily activities, enjoy Vietnamese traditional music then take a small sampan rowing by hand of a local to feel the real Mekong river. After lunch, take another boat to visit Vinh Long, the center of tropical fruits.
Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City – Bus to Phnom Penh (B) (Cambodia)
After breakfast, transfer to the bus station for an express bus to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check in. Free at leisure.
Transfer to visit the main sights including Royal palace, Silver pagoda, Friendship and Independence monuments, National museum and Wat Phnom. After lunch, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide museum, the site is a former high school where was used as a prison by the communist Khmer Rouge and transfer to the Killing Fields where large numbers of people were killed and buried by the communist Khmer Rouge.
Day 12
Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B)
Transfer by private transport to Siem Reap. En route, stop at Skoun town to visit spider local market and before reaching Siem Reap, we will make another stop at Kampong Kdei, an ancient bridge from the Angkor era that was built in the 12th century.
Day 13
Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat (B, L, D)
Transfer to visit Angkor Thom including Elephant terrace, Leper King terrace, Baphuon, Royal enclosure, Phimeanakas, Bayon temple and Ta Prohm temple. After lunch, visit Angkor Wat which is one of the 7 wonders of the world. In the evening, enjoy dinner in front of a traditional dancing show at the Apsara Theatre.
Day 14
Banteay Srey – Big Circuit (B, L)
You will enjoy the sunrise at Angkor Wat(Optional) and spend the whole morning exploring the greatest fine-art of the Angkor Empire at Banteay-Srey temple. After lunch, visit the Grand Circuit of temples: Preah Khan, Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Neak Poan and Ta Som. Late afternoon, you will enjoy the sunset at Pre Rup temple.
Day 15
Tonle Sap Lake – Flight to Luang Prabang (B) (Laos)
Enjoy a boat trip on the Tonle Sap lake. This is a great opportunity to learn about the life of the locals in this village then get back to the airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Day 16
Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves (B, L)
Transfer to visit the city’s temples including Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong then take a boat trip to visit Pak Ou Caves. On the way, you will also enjoy a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. In the afternoon, you will visit some villages including Ban Xan Hai where the local rice wine is produced and other villages.
Day 17
Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfall – Elephant Riding (B, L)
Transfer to visit the stupa of Wat Visoun, Wat Aham & Wat Mai and Phosi market. Next, enjoy an Asian elephant tour and venture on a 35 mins journey through forests, plantations and fields then visit some ethnic minority villages. Afterward, transfer to visit the Kuang Si waterfalls then climb up to the top of Phousi mount for the beautiful view of the city & river at sunset.
Day 18
Luang Prabang - Express Train to Vang Vieng (B)
Free at leisure until take an express train to Vang Vieng, a small and tranquil town nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River. Upon arrival, pick up then transfer to the hotel for check in.
Day 19
Vang Vieng – Tham Jang Caves (B, L)
You will explore the famous caves of Tham Jang, which was once used by the local people as a hideout from Chinese invaders. Next, we take a drive through paddy fields to the Tham Phoukham caves, the country’s beautiful and famous limestone caverns surrounded by forest. Along the way, you will meet local villagers and learn about their daily lifestyle. There is a small natural pool in front of the caves where you can swim and refresh yourself from the heat.Today ends with a superb sunset panorama reflecting over the Nam Song River.
Day 20
Vang Vieng - Express Train to Vientiane (B, L)
Take an express train to Vientiane. Upon arrival, you start visiting the major city sights; including Wat Sisaket, the country’s oldest temple, with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo. En route, you will visit the famous That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos and the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe. End of the day with a visit to the Buddha Park, a scattered and enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures near the Friendship Bridge.
Day 21
Vientiane Departure (B)
Depending on your departure time, you are free at leisure to explore the city more on your own or you can go shopping and then transfer to the airport to take your departure flight to your hometown.
