Starting in Ho Chi Minh City, you will visit the legendary Cu Chi tunnels, the historic Old Royal City in Hue, the charming Ancient Hoian town, the holly land My Son, the 1000 Years Old Quarter Hanoi and the Ancient Capital Hoa Lu. This trip also give you chance to discover the World Heritage site of Halong bay.
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D) You will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Free at your leisure until the time for welcome dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi tunnel (B, L) After breakfast, visit Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km from Ho Chi Minh City to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitors a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the US – Vietnam War. Go back to Ho Chi Minh City for Lunch. In the afternoon, a half day city tour takes you to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of April 1975. Continue to visit some beautiful French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. You also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant before visit to the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Hoian (B, L) After breakfast, you take a short flight to Danang. Upon arrival, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to Hoi An which was originally a Cham seaport from 16th century but has been influenced down the centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures. You stop en route to visit the Cham Museum and the Marble Mountain. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Take lunch at local restaurant before having a walking tour. There are plenty to see in this ancient architecture town, some of which are Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda and the vibrant market. Overnight in Hoian Day 4: Hoian – My Son – Hue (B) In the Morning, you will take 1 hour to drive to My Son, Unesco World Heritage and the Hinduism Sanctuary of Champa kingdom built from VII to XIII centuries. The complex of brick towers, decorated with statues, sculptures divided in many groups and located in the mysterious forest look up to Cat Tooth Holly Mountain. In the afternoon, transfer to Hue, the Old Royal City in Vietnam in 17th century. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check – in. Overnight in Hue. Day 5: Hue Full Day City tour (B, L) After breakfast, you will take a boat trip to visit Thien Mu Pargoda, the Imperial Citadel and the Purple Forbidden City. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to visit the tombs of Emperor Tu Duc and Minh Mang. Overnight in Hue. Day 6: Hue – Hanoi (B) Take free time until transfer to airport for a short flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to hotel. Hanoi is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia‘s most striking colonial architecture. Free at leisure until the time you will attend for enjoy a Water Puppet Unique show. Overnight in Hanoi Day 7: Hanoi Full Day city tour (B, L) Take full day tour through the City of 1000 Years including: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, his House on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda. Afterwards, visit the Temple of Literature- the first university of Vietnam and the Museum of Ethnology where you can learn different life aspects of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. In the afternoon, rickshaw tour to visit the Old Quarter and the Lake of the Restored Sword. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 8: Hanoi – Hoa Lu & Tam Coc – Hanoi (B, L) Drive through rural northern Vietnam to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam to visit the Temples of King Dinh & Le. Take the sampan on a river through the rice paddies to the grottoes of the sacred Three Caves. In the afternoon, go back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L, D) Depart to Halong city for boat cruise on the Bay, stop on route to admire the landscape picture, you might take picture of buffalo boys. Embark on Junk, boat crew will greet you with special seafood lunch while boat cruise around the bay to visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titov beach before finishes at harbor for transfer back to Hanoi. In the evening you will enjoy a farewell dinner at finest restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi Day 10: Hanoi Departure (B) Free at leisure until time transfer to airport for your own departure flight.
