Routes: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hue – Hoian – Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta The special trip will give you opportunities to discover typical food of different area in Vietnam: North, Centre and South, from popular cuisine to fine dining experience at famous restaurant. In this tour, you also have chance to take part into cooking classes during the trip and it will bring you enjoyable experience.
Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D) You will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. In the afteroon, enjoy 1 hour rickshaw ride to the Old Quarter. In the evening, you will enjoy welcomed dinner at local restaurant with authentic Vietnamese Cruisines. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 2: Hanoi Full Day City Tour (B, L, D) After breakfast, enjoy morning tour to Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’ House on Stilt and One Pillar Pagoda, then visit Tempel Of Literature. Next is Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology, the attractive collection of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Enjoy lunch at Cha Ca la Vong Restaurant which is listed in the travel book 1000 places to see before you die. After lunch, trnasfer to visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc son Tempel, Dong Xuan Market and the evening highlight is to be entertained with Water Puppet Performance; the art only exists in Vietnam. In the everning: enjoy a special dinner at the Le Tonkin Restaurant, wich specializes in northern Vietnamese cuisine. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D) Today, get up early for morning Tai Chi with local people at Hoan Kiem lake, then have “Pho” the typical breakfast for Vietnamese people. Leaving Hanoi by road for Halong Bay. On the way to Halong City, you may be lucky to see cows or pigs on motor bike or Vietnamese kids ridding on water buffalo. After 3 hours driving, check in Vietnamese wooden junk and journey along the spectacular limestone islands through floating villages while having sea food lunch, then disembark to visit Heavenly Palace Grotto, one of the most beautiful grottos of the Bay. After 4 hours boat trip, check in hotel in Halong City. Tonight take a short walk for dinner at Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight in Halong City. Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B, D) After breakfast, transfer back to Hanoi by road and stop at some of Ceramic factory, handicraft center before transferring direct to airport for the early afternoon flight to Hue. On arrival in Hue transfer to the hotel. In the evening, cyclo ride to Tinh Gia Vien restaurnat for dinner. Food in Hue is spicy with considerable use of chili and reflecting its imperial roots, is often presented in carefully displayed small servings, a kind of Oriental nouvelle cuisine. Overnight in Hue Day 5: Cooking class in Hue (B, L, D) After breakfast, you will follow the chef to Dong Ba market where you have an instruction on how to choose food for cooking lesson. Lunch is the food you just prepared. In the afternoon, travel by Dragon Boat on the Perfume Rive to Thien Mu Pagoda standing on the riverbank with its seven-storey tower then transfer by car to the imperial Citadel from which the Nguyen Emperors ruled Vietnam. Tonight’ special trip is royal banquet at the Huong Giang Hotel. Overnight in Hue. Day 6: Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B, L, D) After breakfast, transfer to visit Kinh Tu Duc Mausolume with its traditional Vietnamese architecture then a scenic journey on Highway One passing over the dramatic “Moutain and Clouds” Pass. Stop for fresh seafood lunch at local restaurant at Lang Co Beach and visit the famous Cham Museum in Danang and continue to Hoian, check in hotel and stroll down to the picturesque river front for a refreshing drink before dinner at local Restaurant. Overnight in Hoian. Day 7: Hoian (B, L, D) Today you will enjoy a short bike to the ancient town of Hoian and a walking tour to Janpanese Covered Bridge, Phung Hung Ancient House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall and Chua Ong Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant with traditional food, the “Cao Lau”, a delicious soup made with noodles, pork and greens. The afternoon biking tour through rice paddies to the Cuadai Beach allows you to witness the daily life of local people and enjoy sumptuous five-course dinner. Overnight in Hoian Day 8: Hoian – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, D) Free time until transfer to airport for flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, followed by an oriental visit to the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office the afternoon tour leads you to Cho Lon Quarter or “Big Market” area where major trading activities take place. Experience true southern hospitality this evening at a candle lighting dinner at local restaurant with southern specialities. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 9: Mekong Delta – Exotic food (B, L, D) After breakfast, depart for Mekong Delta, enjoy 1 hour drive through Vietnam’s picturesque countryside with its rice paddies and rural villages and cruise led a by local tour guide to Cai Be floating market, traditional villages, evergreen orchard. Next is traditional sampan ride wich allows you to discover the smaller canals and tributaries. Have lunch at local restaurant with Elephant Ear Fish and go back to Ho Chi Minh City. Your tour guide hosts a lavish Farewell celebration dinner at Vietnamese restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city. Day 10: Departure (B) After breakfast at hotel, take free time until transfer to airport for departure flight.
