This 2 days Mekong Delta home stay tour offers you to deep in and experience the daily life of the vibrant Mekong Delta. You make way through the tributaries of the Mekong Delta. From the boat, you truly participate in the bustling commercial activities as you can buy fruits from the floating market. Along the way, you will visit orchard gardens, cottage industry villages, and a land market with an abundance of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables. You will be host by a local family and stay in their traditional house.
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho (L, D)
Pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for a drive to Cai Be. On the way you can see green rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. Upon arrival, take a boat to the floating market where sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. Next, the boat rides on the maze of shady canals visiting the An Binh islands (Vinh Long). You will enjoy the local tropical fruits and see how local people cultivate their orchards, make their living from ceramics, popcorn and rice paper. Stop at Vinh Long market for a nice walk around. Continue driving to Can Tho. Dinner and homestay in Can Tho.
Day 2: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by rowing boat, youwill see the Cai Rang floating market Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
