Sapa is a quiet mountain town and home to a great diversity of ethnic minority peoples. This short tour is a perfect combination of trek and culture while visiting the hill tribes’ villages at a pace and style that compliments you.

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

8PM. Car pick-up from your Hotel to transfer to Hanoi train station to catch the night train to Lao Cai. The train is comfortable with air-con and soft berth.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa. (L)

5AM. Arrive at Lao Cai town, the border town with China. A bus will take you up hill through the stunning cloudy mountains to Sapa town – 30km from Lao Cai. Free in the morning to relax and enjoy the beautiful town and its busy market. Check in the hotel before enjoying lunch in local restaurant.
2PM. Take a 2 hour trek down the valley to the Cat Cat village of the Black-H’Mong Ethnic Minority. Have a closer look into the local life by wandering through vegetable gardens and rice terraces. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Cai. (B, L)

8AM. Have breakfast at the hotel. Start your trek further down to Lao Chai & Ta Van Village of the Black H’Mong and Red Dzao Ethnic People. The trails lead you to a beautiful river curving along the scenic valley. Picnic lunch will be prepared on the way by your tour guide.
2PM. Jeep pick-up from the other end of the village and transfer back to Sapa town. Have some more free time to explore the town and people here before driving down to Lao Cai. Night train back to Ha Noi.

Night 3. Lao Cai – Hanoi

5AM. Train arrives in Hanoi.
