Between the 4th and 13th centuries, a unique culture which owed its spiritual origins to Indian Hinduism developed on the coast of contemporary Vietnam. This is graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a dramatic site that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence.
Explore Cham Culture with the real temples and sanctuaries at My Son - the religious centre of Cham people in Vietnam. After the My Son complex was discovered, many of its artifacts, especially statues of female dancers and genies worshipped by the Cham people, worship animals and artifacts of the daily communal activities, were collected and displayed at the Cham Architecture Museum (established from 1915) in Danang city. Now, the museum is housed of the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. In the afternoon, you will discover the life of Cham people at Cham Museum.
