Cu Chi Tunnel is 70 km from Ho Chi Minh City in the Northwest. It is miniature battle versatile of Cu Chi’s military and people during the 30-year struggle long time and fierce to fight invading enemy to receive independence, freedom for motherland. It also is the special architecture lying deeply underground with many stratums, nooks and crannies as complex as a cobweb, having spares for living, meeting and fighting. Just outside Tay Ninh and 60 miles northwest of Ho Chi Minh City is the Great Temple or Holy See, the center of the intriguing Cao Dai sect. Cao Dai is a syncretistic Vietnamese religious movement that incorporates aspect of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and even Catholicism.
In the morning: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Take a drive to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border. The temple's exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of Buddhist symbols. “Lunch at a local restaurant”.
In the afternoon: Follows by a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 200km from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. Tour finishes at 6:00pm at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
