Day 1: Hanoi (Vietnam) Arrival & Tour 

Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. After short rest, transfer to visit the Ethnographic museum where you can learn the various life aspects of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Continue to visit the Literature Temple – the first university of Vietnam which was built in 1070 – It’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will provide a relaxing insight into Vietnam’s past. Late afternoon, enjoy a cyclo tour to visit the Old Quarter & Ho Guom lake then watch a Water Puppet show.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. Enjoying the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields. Upon arrival, board a overnight cruise to discover the legendary Halong Bay. Enjoy full board meals and many indoor & outdoor activities. Overnight on the cruise. 

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B, L)

Join a Tai Chi session then enjoy an international breakfast while the cruise cruises among hundreds of islets before coming back to the pier. Drive back to the airport for a flight to Hue. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hue. 

Day 4: Hue Tour (B, L)

Enjoy a full day tour in the former imperial capital of Hue. A boat trip on Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda then visit to the Imperial Citadel. After lunch, visit the elaborate tombs of King Khai Dinh & King Tu Duc. This guided tour gives you a deep understanding about King’s philosophy of geomancy and how this affected royal life. 

Day 5: Hue – Hoian & Sunset Cruise (B)

Leave Hue for Hoian, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries. After check in and short rest at hotel, take a boat trip to a local fishing village. Here, you will enjoy the river culture, bird life, local farming and the other daily activities of the local people. During cruising, you will also try some local foods & drinks on the boat. Overnight in Hoian. 

Day 6: Hoian Tour & Tra Que Village (B, L)

Enjoy a walking tour through the ancient town to visit the former merchants’ homes, the old Japanese Covered Bridge & the colorful market then visit to home of a craftsman where you will discover the daily life of local people and see how they make a lantern. Afterward, take a short ride through the countryside to Tra Que village where you will observe a cooking class for some local foods, enjoy a traditional foot massage then learn how to plant vegetables like local famers. In the evening, take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L) 

Driver to Cu Chi district to visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. After lunch, transfer back to the city to visit the main sights including the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, War Remnants museum and the famous Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. 

Day 8: Mekong Delta Tour (B, L)

Transfer to Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, take a boat trip to discover Cai Be floating market. Next, transfer to a village where you can see how the locals make rice paper, coconut candy, pop rice and enjoy Vietnamese traditional music then take a small sampan to feel the real Mekong river. After lunch, visit to a local brick kiln before taking another boat to Vinh Long, the center of tropical fruits and stopping for a short visit at local market then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Phnom Penh (Cambodia) (B)

After early breakfast, transfer to Bus station for an express bus to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 10: Phnom Penh Tour – Siem Reap (B, L) 

Transfer to visit the main sights including Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Friendship Monument, Independence Monument, National Museum and Wat Phnom. After lunch, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the site is a former high school where was used as a prison by the communist Khmer Rouge. Next, visit to the Killing Fields where large numbers of people were killed and buried by the communist Khmer Rouge during the late 1970s. In the evening, take a flight to Siem Reap. 

Day 11: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat (B, L, D)

Transfer to visit Angkor Thom including Elephant terrace, Leper King terrace, Baphuon, Royal enclosure, Phimeanakas and Bayon temple. Afterward, you will also visit to Ta Prohm temple, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. After lunch, visit to the Angkor Wat where is the largest & most impressive of all the temples and its one of the 7 wonders of the world. In the evening, enjoy a dinner in front of a traditional dancing show at the Apsara Theatre.

Day 12: Banteay Srey & Big Circuit (B, L)

In the early Morning, you will enjoy the sunrise at Angkor Wat (Optional) and spend the whole morning to explore the greatest fine-art of Angkor Empire at Banteay-Srey temple. After lunch, visit the Grand Circuit of temples: Preah Khan, Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Neak Poan and Ta Som. Late afternoon, you will enjoy sunset at Pre Rup temple. 

Day 13: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Luang Prabang (Laos) (B)

Enjoy a boat trip on the Tonle Sap lake. This is a great opportunity to learn about the life of the locals in this village. Get back to the town for free until transfer to the airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, pick up & transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 14: Luang Prabang & Pak Ou Caves (B, L)

An Optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving to saffron-clad monks. 

Transfer to visit the city’s temples including Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong then take boat trip to visit Pak Ou Caves. On the way, you will also enjoy a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. After lunch, visit some local villages including Ban Xieng Mene village & Ban Chan village and Ban Xang Hai village where the local rice wine is produced.

Day 15: Luang Prabang & Kuang Si Waterfall & Elephant Riding (B, L)

Transfer to visit the stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrines of Wat Aham & Wat Mai and Phosi market. Next, enjoy a Asian elephants tour which you will venture on a 35 mins scenic journey through forests, plantations & fields then visit to some ethnic minority villages. Afterward, transfer to visit the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls. Late afternoon, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa and capture a beautiful view of the city & river at sunset. From there, you will visit to the Night market.

Day 16: Luang Prabang – Departure (B) 

Visit to the National museum (closed Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace which displays a lovely collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture throughout the ages. You will also see the Central market. After visiting these sights in the morning, there will be free time to explore town until transfer to the airport for your own departure flight.
