Routes: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hoa Lu Tam Coc Start off in Hanoi, explore the rich history, deep culture and emerging prosperity of the capital city of Vietnam. The next destination is Halong Bay with thousands of limestone karsts and the emerald waters of the bay truly make it a mystical and romantic escape, and you will soon see why it is a place of legends. Also you have a chance to visit the old capital Hoa Lu and relax on the rowing boat to visit the scenic country side in Tam Coc. This 5-day trip will give you a lot of discovery and relaxation.
Day 1: Arrival Hanoi Vietnam Style Travel representative will pick you up at Noi Bai airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 2: Halong Bay Cruise full day (B, L) Pick you up from your hotel at 7:30AM, you will enjoy a drive to Halong City, approximately 3 hours away via Red River Delta. Once at Halong City you will board our boat for a four-hour cruise of this stunning area, stopping along the way to visit one of the limestone caves in the area. Enjoy a sumptuous local seafood lunch on boat. After 4 hours navigation we sail back to harbor and drive back to your hotel in Hanoi. Rest of the day is for your relaxation. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 3: Hanoi Sightseeing full day (B, L) You have a full day of sightseeing ahead, including a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his house on stilt, the botanical garden, the Presidential palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Also visit the Temple of Literature, the first Royal National university of Vietnam built in 1076. After lunch, enjoy one hour on the cyclo to discover the Old Quarters. Watch a water puppet show before back to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 4: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc Sightseeing full day (B, L) Take a drive to Ninh Binh to visit Hoa Lu – the former ancient Royal Capital of Viet Nam with Dinh and Le Temples which worshipped two Kings in the history of Vietnam. Spend 45 minutes transfer to Tam Coc and enjoy lunch there before taking a small bamboo boat and go along the Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc (Three Caves) – “Halong Bay on land” for 2 hours. Then get back the wharf, and leave for Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 6:00pm. Overnight in Hanoi. Day 5: Hanoi Departure (B) Free at leisure until departure to airport for flight to next destination or return home.
